About LeagueKing

LeagueKing (leagueking.pro) is a sports league management platform owned and operated by King and Country, LLC. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of leagueking.pro and the LeagueKing service.

1. Information We Collect

When you use LeagueKing, we collect information you provide directly:

  • Name, phone number, and email address
  • Team information and league participation data
  • Profile photos you choose to upload
  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe)
  • RSVP responses and game scores

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate and manage your league, including scheduling, matchups, and standings
  • Send SMS notifications about game schedules, RSVP reminders, and score submissions — only if you opt in on your profile page
  • Process team registration fees via Stripe
  • Display standings, team rosters, and league feeds to league members
  • Allow league commissioners to manage their organizations

3. SMS Communications

LeagueKing uses SMS for two distinct purposes:

Login verification (required to sign in). When you sign in, we send a one-time code to your phone. This message is necessary to access your account.

League notifications (optional, opt-in). If you choose to opt in on your profile page, we will send SMS messages about league activity. These may include:

  • Weekly RSVP reminders and confirmations
  • Game schedule updates and matchup announcements
  • Score-submission prompts and dispute notices
  • League and team announcements from your commissioner

Opting in is voluntary. Consent to receive league notifications is not a condition of using LeagueKing, registering for a league, joining a team, or completing any payment. You may opt in or out at any time from your profile page, or by replying STOP to any league notification. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.

We record the date and source of each opt-in for audit and compliance.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

  • Within your league: Your name, team info, and game results are visible to other league members. Phone numbers and full names may be hidden based on league privacy settings.
  • Service providers: We use Twilio for SMS, Stripe for payments, and DigitalOcean for hosting.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password-less authentication, and PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Game history and standings are retained for league record-keeping purposes.

7. Your Rights

You can update your profile information at any time through your account settings. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact your league commissioner or email us.
